Can Trout Find Love in a Ditch? Lynn and Justin Isherwood farm several hundred acres of potatoes and other crops in Portage County, in the legendary "central sands" region of Wisconsin. This area is a nexus of several critical water issues, and the Isherwood's do it right. Learn from Lynn and Justin about their project to make the sow's ear of a drainage ditch into the silk purse of a trout stream. Learn too about "Healthy Grown Potatoes" and the challenge of finding balance in protecting the environment and growing food for a hungry planet. A farm picnic follows the tour.
